  • The English names of the parties are unofficial, for the original Dutch names see the Dutch equivalent of this page.

  • The Dutch Bureau of Statistics CBS gives (slightly) different numbers, for the larger parties the difference is only a couple of hundred votes. The number according to the CBS are here.

  • Introduction of right to vote for all men, women are eligible for election, but are not allowed to vote.

  • Introduction of a system of proportional representation. Seats are distributed on a national level, with a system of highest surpluses used to allocate remainder seats.

  • Parties having received a number of votes less than 50% of the electoral quota are excluded from the chance of receiving a remainder seats

  • The CHU, the BVL, and the Rural League take part with two sublists.

  • The Middle Class' Party takes part under the name Alberda Group in the province of Friesland.

  • The total number of invalid votes is unknown, and thereby also the total number of cast votes and the turnout. Based on the total number of valid votes the turnout is 88.42%.
